About this Beach

Costa Rei is one of the longest and most beautiful beach stretches in southeastern Sardinia. Extending for nearly 10 kilometers near Muravera, this expansive beach combines fine white sand with incredibly transparent turquoise water that remains shallow far from shore. The beach is dotted with distinctive rocky outcrops, including the famous Scoglio di Peppino, a large sculpted rock that has become the iconic symbol of Costa Rei. The gentle gradient and calm waters make it exceptionally popular with families. Behind the beach, a mix of holiday homes, small hotels, and local businesses create a relaxed resort atmosphere without the overcrowding of larger destinations. The area offers excellent facilities while maintaining the natural beauty that draws visitors from across Europe.

Even better, what a blue crystal clear water and clean white sand. For miles only a handful people in sight … almost impossible to find such a beautiful beach do quiet. Can not imagine what’s happening in summer !

nice beach, probably the longest I have visited on Sardinia, crystal water, windy, a lot of space, you can see kitesurfers there, parking on the main road

I can imagine the crowds in summer. In winter completely tranquil and stunning. Compared to Costa Smeralda resorts,.this part of the coast has a laid-back atmosphere.

In mid-June it was absolutely great. Very few people, fine golden sand, crystal clear waters and perfect relaxation.

It’s a lovely beach. Wave breaking stones make the sea calmer. The rocks also attract tons of fish of many sizes and colours. Which is great spectacle while snorkelling. Nice beach, long enough not to feel overcrowded even in August.
