About this Beach

Spiaggia di Bidderosa is a protected beach within the Bidderosa Nature Oasis, a coastal park near Orosei in eastern Sardinia. Access is controlled with a limited number of vehicles allowed per day, preserving the pristine environment and ensuring a peaceful experience. The park contains five distinct sandy coves, each with its own character, ranging from wide open stretches to intimate pockets framed by juniper woodland. The water is crystal clear with a magnificent turquoise color, and the seabed is fine sand perfect for paddling. The surrounding pine and juniper forest creates a uniquely fragrant atmosphere and provides natural shade. Walking trails connect the coves and wind through the woodland, offering opportunities to spot wildlife including deer, foxes, and numerous bird species. Advance booking is required for vehicle entry.

This particular beach marked here is Bidderosa number 2. That’s the one you’ll arrive at with the small shuttle bus from the main entrance if you didn’t manage to book a parking spot for your car. It’s definitely smaller compared to number 4, which you can easily reach in about 10 minutes on foot from here. In our case, number 4 also felt calmer in terms of the sea and was much shallower and safer for kids than number 2. On number 2 a lot of space was also taken up by people renting out sunbeds and umbrellas. The reviews are full of praise, and of course the beach is beautiful, but honestly, I’d say you can find plenty of other Mediterranean beaches that are more interesting and even more stunning. At the back of the beach there’s a charming pond that really adds to the beauty of the surroundings.

Best beach of the trip! The access is a little bit complicated (we needed to park the car and get on a transfer van that takes about 15 minutes to get to the beach). Before you go you need the schedule the return time and as we were a big group (15 in total) it was a bit complicated to find available spots to all of us. After some time we could manage this with the staff. Besides that, it is definitely worth it. The beach is beautiful, clean and not crowded at all. There is also a bar at the beach where you can buy drinks and food.

INFORMATIONAL Review Oasis #4 There are 5 Oasis to choose from, each one costs the same but each one has different amenities. You can technically walk to the other number beaches from the one you choose but you cannot see the other beaches from your beach. You check in and pay at the attendant booth while entering and choose a beach. Each beach (1,2,3,4,5) has a parking lot. There is a 5km drive from the attendant booth to the #1 Oasis parking lot and signs to keep driving to the next (2,3,4,5). Your exit will be driving back the way you came in and there are signs. The drive is very scenic and an interesting forest. There are hiking trails marked along the drive and some cars pulled off to the side from hikers or people taking photos. The road is a narrow dust path so be cautious and expect dry dust to cover your car at the end of the day. We went to #4. We paid for 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. Arrived at 12:00 and the lifeguard had already set up the chairs and umbrella. He offered to move it wherever we wished. Another couple asked him to move their chairs and it was no problem. Oasis #4 has a toilet, portapotty style. It has a lifeguard, chairs, and umbrella rental. June 9 there were about a dozen families on beach #4 which is not very many. We couldn't hear anyone around us but we could see them. The sand is very soft and the water was a bit cold but easy to acclimate to. There are a few groups of rocks that make for warmer and interesting tide pools. We saw some fish in the water and some seashells onshore. There were absolutely no seagulls. We left our items on our beach chairs and had no problem returning to them after very long walks to the other beaches. We walked to Oasis #5. It was a bit warmer water and had less rocks. It also borders the northern more beach club which has amenities but is crowded with families. The pictures are of Oasis #4 lifeguard stand, #4parking lot and amenities

Pure, untouched nature. Beautiful, peaceful, you shouldnt skip this beach. Before u go, u should book online to enter because This is national park. We visited beach no 5, and took sunbads ad umbrella cc 50 e for 2. But you dont have to take sunbads and umbrella, cause there is enough free space. You shoul take food, water, there is a lot of place for piknik, who wants. We spent great Day there.
